About the Job
Key duties include setting up and operating machinery, monitoring for quality, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all production specifications are met. This role also involves following safety protocols and may require reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and performing quality checks on finished products.
Core responsibilities:
- Safely set up, operate, and monitor presses according to job specifications and blueprints to produce high-quality products.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet company and customer standards. Perform quality audits and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of the press and related machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues that arise during operation to minimize downtime.
- Load materials, change parts like plates and ink rollers, and complete production paperwork and reports as required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and work instructions.
